A water net is algae that grows in a network of polygon formations. Each side of the polygon is a single algae cell. A water net can grow extremely fast, so fast that it can become a pest in some parts of the world, like New Zealand. It consumes the nutrients in the water and can damage the ecosystem when it grows unchecked.
